Free DNS record lookup

Free DNS Lookup

Look up A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SOA and CAA records for any domain — no signup required.

Privacy. The domain is queried in real time and is not stored. Only anonymous aggregate usage counters are retained.

What does a DNS lookup show?

A DNS lookup shows the records published for a domain. Different record types control website addresses, email delivery, domain verification, nameservers and other infrastructure.

Which DNS records are checked?

Notinexa checks A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SOA and CAA records. A missing record is normal when that record type is not used by the domain.

What does TTL mean?

TTL means time to live. It tells DNS resolvers how long a record may be cached before it should be queried again. The TTL shown here is the value observed in the current DNS response and may decrease while a resolver's cached answer remains valid.

DNS lookup vs DNS propagation checker

This tool queries DNS records and shows their current values. It is not a worldwide propagation map and does not claim to test the same domain simultaneously from dozens of geographic DNS nodes.
